Portland's flagship riverfront science museum (open Tue–Sun) with Science Playground, Turbine Hall labs, planetarium, and submarine.
On the east bank of the Willamette River in Portland (open Tuesday–Sunday 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM; closed Mondays). Young children ages 0–6 love the giant Science Playground with water tables, climbing structures, and discovery labs, while older kids conduct real chemistry experiments in Turbine Hall, watch shows in the Kendall Planetarium, and tour the real USS Blueback submarine!
